Paying homage to Mr Noll's favorite series, Twin Peaks, it's also a reference to the bizarre phenomenon in the alien abduction community known as the 'screen memory', where aliens somehow trick our minds into seeing them as something harmless, most typically as an owl or similar forest creature.
