Arthur Lee was the leader of the band "Love" in the late 1960's and 70's....one of our favorite bands at TOA. The music of which has been featured in countless classic skate videos over the years. Lee was caught up in a controversial arrest in the late 90's and charged with the unlawful discharge of a firearm, sentenced to 12 years in prison although he maintained his innocence throughout his incarceration. And even though gun-powder residue tests confirmed Lee hadn't fired a gun that day and someone later came forward and confessed to the crime, Lee was never exonerated. So Theories honors one of their favorite voices in music with a new shirt exclaiming "Free Arthur Lee!"
